Stella Maris is the Latin for “Star of the Sea” is a title of the Blessed Virgin Mary, known in English as Our Lady, Star of the Sea. It is no coincident that Stella Maris Retreat Centre is the seaside formation centre of the Catholic Church located just by the seaside in a fast growing township of Tanjong Tokong, Penang. Surrounded by hotels, shopping malls and popular hawker centres, Stella Maris is the prefect getaway for an exciting, refreshing and revitalizing retreat in Penang.

Nudge away from the hustle and bustle of the development of Tanjong Tokong, Stella Maris Retreat Centre commands a fantastic view of the Northern Channel of Penang and a picturesque view of Kedah Peak – Gunung Jerai and beyond. Complimenting the scenic view is Stella Maris own private garden and a direct private access to the sea along the fame white sandy beach of Tanjong Tokong.

Stella Maris Retreat Centre is managed by Penang Diocesan Centre and consist of Stella Maris I – consisting of 3 Rooms Apartment, Dormitory, Conference Room (for 40 – 50 pax) and Kitchen/Dining Room. Stella Maris II consists of Twin, Triple and Quad rooms with attached bathroom and fully air-conditioned. There is also a Conference Room which can occupy more than 100 pax plus a Kitchen and Dining Room.
